Creekview began from a single idea back in the late 1990’s. That idea, which seems to be a no-brainer, is actually quite revolutionary. You see, John Prell had a vision. He wanted to make real estate affordable. He wanted to help families by letting them keep more of the money from the sale of their homes.

So, How do Flat Fee MLS Listings Work?

First, let’s explain how traditional listings work. Usually, if you list your property with a traditional realtor, you sign a contract and agree to hand over 3% of the sale price of your home. If the buyer has an agent, which they usually do, they also charge a fee.

The combined 6% fee is almost always absorbed by the seller. For example, that works out to a whopping $15,000 for a house priced at $250,000. Stop and think about that number. For the longest time, people had to just suck it up and deal with it.

Then, the internet changed the world. Practically every industry has been transformed in some way, and real estate is no different. Listing your property is now done with the click of a button. Contracts, documents, even negotiations, all told, represent hours of work instead of days or even weeks.
